(1) The downloads done in January will not count against your share ratio but you will be still credited for uploads
(2) The minimum ratio will be a paltry 0.01.
Thus, if you previously were "kicked off" Dime for having a shitty ratio, now's your chance to get some more downloads. In doing so, you may raise your ratio enough so you can remain a user after January ends.
