Hey, dear french fans !
Just found on the internet that Stewart will dedicate his DVD in "Le Furet du Nord" store in Lille (North of France) on thursday 19, october.
This will be the unique date for France !
Coincidence (or not ?): his old mate Henry Padovani will be there the same day, same hour, to sign his book "Secret Policeman".
Isn't it a GREAT new ?
I will try to go there and take pictures !!! (if I can free myself from my job !)
Oh, here is the link:

That's so cool! I hope to see pictures!
So they're doing the signing together? How neat.
Pity Sting couldn't have done the same with Andy in New York next week, instead of having his signing scheduled in direct conflict with Andy's...

Coincident, I doubt it.
Gio could you ask Andy about doing an audio version of the book aswell? It could be released later on (since it's already to late to release at the same time). With him reading would be so cool! If he's not planning on it, he shouldn't have put up that tease of him reading on myspace...

Aw, geez. You guys are making my mouth water. Logging on here and talking to people from all over the world about the events you're attending really sparks my imagination. It's partly why I hang out here (shhh! Don't tell Stewart!
)

Hi Everybody,
I hope to meet some of you in Lille. Do you know when Stewart last did a public appearance in France? If my brain is still ok, it was probably in 1989, a gig with Animal Logic at the Elysée Montmartre in Paris. Can anyone tell me if I'm wrong?
As this signing in Le Furet Du Nord is going to take place before the official french release date, they have decided to show the film on a big screen. Cool, isn't it? (well don't expect a huge Imax screening though!)
Cheers.

Hi Olivier, how are you?
I just wanted to ask you about your Z1 DVD. In which FNAC did you buy it? They are not supposed to sell it before November, you lucky boy!
See you on thursday.

Hi,
well nobody answered my question about Stewart's last public appearance in France. So, it seems that it was probably his show with Animal Logic in 1989!
Hey french people, wake up you sleepy dreamers, forget about all the fake frenchie rockn'ollers, all the Star Academies and tell Stewart how much you love him (I know you do). Then he may decide to come in our country more often. Lille is a good opportunity for that! Don't spoil that one.

I'm trying to get in touch with him about releasing the book in Italy but I'm having hard time in getting a response, as he's around .... I will tell him about but I doubt he will ever release a 'reading' in audio...I'll ask him if he will ever put a podcast on line at his website, that would be good, eh?

While you're bugging the guys for us, how's about pestering Stewart to write a book? All the COOL people are doing it, including Sting and Andy...
(Sounds like Stew's going to have his hands full for quite a while if he's working on every project he mentions, though. I can't complain too much, since they include new Klark Kent recordings and a box set of his movie soundtracks!!)

I don't remember if Stewart told me personally or whether I read it in some of the interviews, but Stewart would rather do a book about his life 'after' The Police....nothing in the can by now, just an idea about the concept for a possible book ...
Stewart can you confirm? Was I dreaming?
