Check out FalloutMike's email a couple of posts below:

Hey drummers, just got this email. Sam Ash is having a blowout sale this weekend. Although the BB ride isn't any deal, this is the lowest I've ever seen the limited edition kit. (Don't look Tamadude)

http://www.samash.com/webapp/wcs/stores ... rySA400017

(I don't know how to do tiny url)

You might peruse their site if you're in need of some stuff.

Guys,

On a second look I think the reason why this is so cheap it's the Shell Pack only, no Hardware except for the Octoban Stands.

Double check before buying, don't want anybody getting screwed.

ETA:To get the hardware, you would need to purchase HSC16WN Hardware kit for 11pc shell kit (SC112S)

HSC16WN Hardware Pack
1 - HP900PTW Iron Cobra Power Glide Twin pedal
1 - HS700WN Roadpro Snare Drum Stand
3 - HC72WN Roadpro Straight Cymbal Stands
4 - HC74BWN Roadpro Boom Cymbal Stands
3 - HTC77WN Roadpro Combination Tom/Cymbal Stands
1 - HH905 Iron Cobra Lever Glide Hi-hat Stand
3 - CA30EN Short Boom Cymbal Holders
3 - MC62 Multi-clamp

I believe no cymbals are included.

I figured something like that might be the case, but there is no way that I'm lingering on that page long enough to find out!

I got an estimate on windows for the house the other day, and let's just say that they are more than the kit.

Priorities blow.

Don't worry Amy, I got a better deal than even the sale price.

Oh ya, like animal said, don't forget to factor in the hardware package, cymbals, throne, cases, etc, etc.

Well, yeah I realized there was some stuff in your pics that weren't on the list. But sure is enticing to someone with bucks to burn and doesn't care about the hardware, etc. ( That's certainly ain't me. I'll be digging out from under Tourzilla for awhile! )

How is that sweet chariot of yours handling, TD?

I was about to expleeet at the price, but as Animal rightly points out, it's about $3k or more of hardware short of being practical/usable.

I'm not sure the octobans were included either.

Ok, nevermind. Nothing to see here. As you were...

Yeah, I went to S.A today to see if they had one in the store here in Vegas. Of course not...bastards. I did get treated to a musical entourage of Message in a Box during my visit to the store as a consolation prize however. :D I was like a kid in a candy store. Walked straight to drums picked up sticks and went merrily on my way to drum heaven playing along with STEWART on a Starclassic. I even convinced the guy to grab the SC snare off the stand and put it on the kit for an almost full affect. It was FUN!!!! I am so ready for the freaking lottery or hitting the jackpot now.

They did have a Buddy Rich Rep kit up for $949 dollars, pearl white and sounded ok...Hey STEWART....read this^^^^^^

but NO COPELAND KIT. GRRRR. They did have Stick packs with The Rhythmatist T shirt and L. E Vaters, SC snare and no blue bell ride. It sold a week after coming into the store. Haha.

Guitar Center has 3 kits- they have everything sans the gong bass and the tymp toms. cymbals are seperate as well as they are anywhere else...

they really want to move these and are willing to deal.... even beating Tamadude's deal. if anyone is serious about this, let me know and i'll make it happen.

sorry tamadude... i still love ya
