I wonder how much was paid for this study??

A doctor has issued a report in the British Medical Journal stating that headbanging can be hazardous to your health. Dr. Andrew McIntosh, a biomedical and injury expert at the University of New South Wales, warned in his report, "We identified a definite risk of mild traumatic brain injury from headbanging. We would suggest a proper public health warning, as for smoking." McIntosh suggests that fans wear neck braces when headbanging to avoid injuring themselves. (NME.com)

Ha Ha

I saw this on breakfast TV the other day and thought exactly the same thing. "No shit Sherlock!"

It was the comment about the neck brace that made me smile though. When I was a teenager and headbanging was popular, anyone turning up to a party in a neckbrace would have had far more immediate health hazards to worry about.
