Well sorry to be completely self-indulgent, but December 23rd is always a special day in my calendar, because it's the anniversary of the first time I saw The Police play live *sigh*

I was an awe-struck 15 year old who was left completely speechless (literally) for an hour after seeing my favourite band play at the hallowed ground of the Brighton Centre :D

Ahhhhhh those were the days...

Happy anniversary for you.

Glad you were able to see then back then. I wasn't so lucky and didn't them them together until the reunion tour.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music

Yay, happy anniversary! Sheesh, now I feel old, between dafttart and smax revealing their ages :D !

Here's the gig entry from the wiki:

http://www.policefans.org/Police_wiki/i ... 1983-12-23

It needs more info, so if dafttart or someone else has more details from the gig (like support act), here's the place to capture it!

Thanks for indulging me guys :D

The support act were The Alarm - completely brilliant and VERY 80's! Ended up seeing them about 10 times over the following years too. Was completely besotted with Dave Sharp
