This is so totally OT that it hurts, but $200 accounting software for nothing is a good thing for those who use it:

You have to pay up front and deal with a rebate and might get hit with sales tax, but shipping is free.

I would approach this with caution. Rebates SUCK!!!! I'm pretty sure rebates are offered due to the high percentage of people not properly complying with rebate requirements. I am still waiting for a few rebates that I sent out years ago.

I was actually about to ETA with something random and instructional, like how to fold a shirt in 2 seconds:

but I'm open to suggestions.

Ditto EQ (sorry - got my attribution wrong first time) on the rebate thing. I'm jumping through hoops with a very respected supplier at the moment (for work, thankfully). Even when they are making an honest offer, the admin is a bitch.

PoliceRule. Do you have IRIS over there? May just be a uk thing, in which case - of course - bugger all use to you. The version we have is not super-cheap, but if a US version does exist I'd recommend them.

As for what to do with a redundant thread, well, dunno. Anyone got some socks they can decorate? ;-)

Not only that, but be wary of rebates offered by entities in danger of going into bankruptcy (like Circuit City). If they go belly up, you're screwed.
