Hey Stewart! Can we hear about appearances beforehand?

Not to disparage Eugenio and Gio, who do a terrific job of keeping us updated - particularly on European concerts & events - but lately we fans have heard about several appearances and media interviews we'd all love to have seen (just now I read on Backstage Cafe.com you were on CNN this morning...earlier this week it was Opie & Anthony, which we found out about after the fact...our buddy Kim missed you in NYC lately although she was in the city that day)...

We'd sure love it if your publicist or somebody could email Gio or one of us so we could let everyone know ahead of time. Maybe all of us could sign up for an email announcement list. It's just that, shucks, we're your adoring fans, you know? What with all the excitement around the ES:TPIO DVD release, we don't want to miss a minute of Copeland-y goodness.

Again, not intended to be a slight against Gio or Eugenio. Just askin'.

Thanks!

DotD, aka Jean in Nashville :)

Yeah, what they said.

We don't expect you to post your own itinerary, but somebody must set these things up for you. Can't someone from their office give us some advance warning? Just a short post? Or add those who want to register to some kind of e-mail distribution list? We promise not to follow you around and stalk you, lol. I can't drop everything and run to an event just because I know it's going to happen, but watching a TV interview is something that is easy to do with advance warning. The problem with Google alerts is that they usually report something that already happened, and of course by then it's too late.

They'd probably already have it typed up somewhere, it would really only be "Copy Paste".

OK OK!
I'll try to figure out some kind of notification. My life right now is a blur of promotion. The frenetic promo lady (Amy Grey) is busy hustling and can barely keep my schdule together, let alone track the broadcast and publication dates that result from my jabbering. Actually you folks are the fastest at picking stuff up. But I'll try to get Amy to give you more.
If you start catching more of my interviews, just don't sue me for the repititions!

Hey! Great!!

I confess to having done a scoche of Googling to see if I could find out who was doing your promos these days (I know Miles is crazy busy at the moment, too, and hasn't been online much lately.) I haven't said much about it because I personally don't want this to reflect badly on Gio or Eugenio in any way, because they're completely cool and because they do a great job with the information they get. In any event I'm sure it's pretty hard for them to get all the scoop on events happening on another continent.

If any of us can help Amy & Gio run down times, dates, or any other info, I'm sure there'd be a small army of volunteers. We really might ought to set up an announcement-only email list...let me know if I can help set something up. I run a few Yahoogroups for various pet projects, so I'm kind of an old hand at it. I don't personally know how to run a majordomo email list, but I'm betting somebody around here does.

You know, for real. It's just that we all love the movie, we're all really interested in whatever new projects are happening, and - aw heck - we really enjoy being your fans. Thanks for keeping us posted!

Oh, and p.s. on the repetitions - It's all good. We're all just amazed you can answer the same "when's the Police reunion" question over and over with a smile on your face...and without letting on it's been asked 140 million times... ;)

Thank you!!!

Yeah, what Divemistress said.

I'm an "office girl" so, if Amy needs any help, just let me know. Now, what's her number? LOL!
