Ciao everybody from all of us at SC.net HQ!
We had our time off, but it's about time to come back on our place, right?
Well, The Police tour drove us all crazy, that was the main aim and in my opinion they did it in the best way they could! Now let's all go back to normality...normality? What is that? Is there any space for 'normality' here?
Ok, just kidding, but anyway, I'm happy we're all safe after a 14-month-Police tour!
The world goes on my friends, and it's a better place than before, with all our great memories, tales, pointings, worries, money spent (ops...), contests (no more, please!!!) and all sorts of experiences we all had in the last year and a half!
Many of you joined us after The Police tour was announced, some others joined us after seeing The Police on tour, due to 'the way Stewart was beating his snare drum' and that drove them to Sc.net forum; some of you were here even before I was born (!?) ... but I know, I simply know that probably there won't be exactly the same excitement for some of the forumers, and I guess the daily life is giving some of you more to think about than visiting this place everyday; that's why we thought about a Newsletter that will capture your attention while you might be away, or will forget to come down here and say hi every now and then; the Newsletter will be sent via e-mail; if possible, every now and then we will probably attach some interesting files, something that even the real aficionados (you know who you are) won't find here, but we're sure this new service will be appreciated by most of you.
While the newsletter is something we're still working at, something new is coming in the next few days; Vittorio Cosma (second-half of Gizmo) is now ready to show to the world something that only an artist like him could do; his new creation is called INDEEPANDANCE and it's a mixture of visual arts and music; nothing really easy to explain, so we though that only his direct explanation would be the best thing to do; in the next few days we will upload an interview with Vittorio Cosma where he will tell us everything about his great project and Stewart collaboration.
Remember we were talking about a book and a dvd from SC.net? Ok, we're now working at the dvd (tonight I was choosing some extracts from Orchestralli live in Turin for example); the dvd is easier to work at, and faster, so we decided it was way much better to work on it first, followed by the book. Both projects will take some time, but we're definitely happy about working on them!
T-shirts! Well, the new design is amazing and will be soon released; news to come on our merchandise section!
The Newletter, the interview with Vittorio, the T-shirts, the dvd, the book....I guess that's all by now!
We are more relaxed after some holiday time; you can see me and Eugenio on this pic, but you can't see the big mountain on our back; that's an amazing place where Eugenio and his family invited my and my friend to spend August 15th to relax and have some good time, good food and a good walk on the mountains.
Don't we look like two good old brothers??? NO?, Ok...but for sure we are two great friends!

Ps.: sorry about the troubles you all witnessed trying to log in in the last few days; the main server based in Rome had some serious problems and all the websites related to that server suffered of some lack of connection in the last couple of weeks. Everything should be ok right now.
