This is just a little topic to give a big, huge thank you to Stewart Copeland for being such a wonderful inspiration to all of us forum members and many other people. Come post here if you want to add your gratitude! ^_^
Stewart, my message to you is:
I am honest with every inch of my heart when I say that you are my favourite musician of all time. Since I fell in love with your music for spyro when I was only 10, it has been be deepest favourite music to listen to.... and I am now 16. I love your music so much, it is a very strong passion, believe me. It's because I love your choice of instruments, the surrealty of the sound, the amazing rythm and the outstanding grasp for atmosphere.
Thank you Stewart, because you have inspired me. Thank you. ^_^ *hugs*
Love Princess Peachie <3

Yo Peaches,
Do you just like Stew's Spyro stuff? He's got lots of other great music... Oh and of coarse there's The Police.
And sorry Stewart, I don't love you. I know, you must be SO disapointed...

I love Stewart Copeland almost the same way I love Superman...By the way, isn't Stewart=Superman? I think only Superman can make me fly and I always fly with SCopeland's music-art.
:D

Olivier, are you talking from my Metropolis pal Klark Kent?

No, it's not me Louise Lane !
Klark Kent was a character thought up by Stew in 1978, who was musically frustrated because Sting didn't want to play his songs. So Stew did them by himself, and the result is f***ing great !!!!

I've been listening intently to his drumming for over 20 years and I still get blown away by it. Playing along to 'Driven to Tears' is one of the most fun things there is...

Stewart you are my favourite musician. Your beats make the world a better place. You are the greatest and most passionate drummer I've ever known.
Way to go, man!

Come to think of it, I also first discovered the divine Mr. C when I was pretty young (was only in primary school when the early Police material began to be released.)
Great Stewart songs (even if he didn't write 'em, you can love his playing): One World, Army's on Ecstasy, soundtrack for 'Riff Raff'...

Stewart you rock, man!
But seriously, I love your Spyro music and just like Peachie, I am now 16 and still loving it! I also love the music from the Rumble Fish soundtrack too because I can totally relate to the song Don't Box Me In since that's the way I feel sometimes but Tulsa Tango is also great to litsen to.
All in all, you are the coolest drummer in the world! And I think everyone else here agrees with me. (If not, then what the heck are you looking at this forum anyhows?)

"Don't Box me in", was by Stan Ridgway, Stewart did the music. Great song though.
