I'll name an artist, and then the next person will make a connection with someone else - perhaps featured on a track, or guested at a gig, and name that connection.
i.e. Sting- Mary J. Blige - she sang in his song "Whenever I say your name"
The next person would then make a connection to Mary J. Blige.
And don't just string the members of The Police together, it's way to obvious...but if it's all you can think of, then find, but just to keep the game going.

Just so we don't get into a string of rap artists....
Sean "Puffy" Combs- Sting, he worked on Sean's "Missing You", which totally sucked, and I don't think Sting got any credit for it other then the fact that he was singing on it.
