(so as not to polute the forum with these other topics, lets keep them in here)
Anyone going to see Eric Clapton on his '06/'07 tour? He's one of my all time favorite artists, and I've never gotten to see him live! He better come here (if he does it will probably be around '08 )...I'm saving my money to get really good seats, for once I won't need binoculars!
Proposition.

I don´t know if I have taste, but I am pretty sure that if I have it, is very different from you.
I love Stewart Copeland music and also his Rhythmatist film.
I am crazy about Mister Gradenko and you gave it to me, as a gift (remember?)
And I am sure that I don't like Sting, unless when he was with Police, but Bob Dylan, I don't like his music never.
Very different tastes, don't you think so...

I wish I could see Bob Dylan but I think he hates Canada. Let us know how the show is...I am not one of those old time Bob fans, I just recently really gave his music a long listen. He is a master at writing songs. Some people don't respond to his singing but I Love his songs.
If you have an open mind listen to "The Basement Tapes" he recorded with the Band. It is like witnessing the birth of a new style of music.
I love Stewarts music of course but like HE say's, you should listen to diverse a music selection as you can...expand. I think that's true. I used to be very critical of anything other than The Police, but then as I got older I started hearing more things and more things. Now I even like some Country tunes...I never used to like that.
some of my personal Favs:
- Bob Marley
- Bob Dylan
- Leadbelly
- Woody Guthrie
- Muddy Waters
- Wilco
- The Band
- Louis Armstrong
- Bing Crosby
- Dean Martin
- Frank Sinatra
- King Sunny Ade
- John Mayer
- Van Halen (with Roth)
- AC/DC
- Old Rolling Stones
- Willie Nelson (Countryman CD)
whew - Sorry, got carried away.
Cheers.
Yes...

Well Al, I like Nirvana but don't think only teens likes this band.
And from your list Bongoboy, I can hear, Sinatra, Van Halen, AC/DC and RollingStones.
I saw in Swiss, long time ago a concert where played Motley Crue, Van Halen and AC/DC, ant he best performance was made by the last one.
