If anyone happens to be passing through centralish NJ next Saturday (Sept. 15), there will be a rather intriguing/bizarre little music festival held in Nomahegan Park in Cranford.

MAIN STAGE
10:30am - Beale Street Love
12:30pm – Chuck Berry
2:30pm – The Smithereens
4:30pm – Fountains Of Wayne
8:00pm – Live

SECOND STAGE
11:30am – The English Beat
1:30pm – The Old Ceremony
3:30pm – The Apples In Stereo
6:00pm – The Alarm

Admission is free.

There will also be a walk-a-thon at 9am to benefit the Love, Hope, Strength Foundation, founded by Mike Peters of The Alarm and the New Jersey Citizens Coalition For Cures.

A name from the past...I saw The Smithereens in 1990 and they put on a good concert. That is quite a diverse group of performers for the music festival. Something for just about everyone.

I love to feel the rain in the summertime..

Thanks for the heads up DM. Interesting line up.

I know I won't be there but sounds like it could be a good time.

Nuts, wish I wasn't going to be in Chicago next weekend, otherwise I would totally check that out.
