Broadcast of 82 US Festival Show

The guys over at TPT have said that recently there was a recent broadcast of the Police's 82 show at the US Festival. Previously, I was only aware of audience recordings of this show. You gotta think that a radio broadcast would be of better quality. By chance, did anyone record this or get a copy of this broadcast?

can't even find a website for this station.... what a tragedy! a rebroadcast of a previously unavailable show (except for AUD recordings) and it seems we've missed it....

AWW MAN...I was just in 505 Alb NM LAST WEEK. Moved back here to 702 Las Vegas On Friday 31st of Aug...dangnamit. Oh well. I used to listen to that Station too...

Hey EQ, I have a DVD copy of The Clash performing at this festival but unfortunately no Police on it. The quality is kinda crappy but what a set they played! I think this was the last appearance of Mick Jones before he was...er...um...fired.

I have seen nothing on it that would indicate that they even play The Police.
More of a Avril Lavigne Kanye West type station from the look of there play lists. It is a Spanish station called Coyote! (get it KIOT).

Anyway lots of contact info there so might be worth a follow-up...

I was in high school when the US Festival went on, lived nearby, followed it very closely at the time, and I recall *nothing* about a radio broadcast from either year, for any of the artists...and I've never heard of a Police broadcast over the years from the US Festival (only that timecoded video has surfaced). And this was supposedly rebroadcast on a New Mexico radio station? I have my doubts.

Also the original poster about the US Festival rebroad came clean over on TPT. He had heard wrong.
