STEWART COPELAND

This is my post number 777. To balance the evil I spread with my post 666, I decided to start a thread wherein people can make a wish and maybe by the power of this thread, the wish will come true. Here are my wishes:
(1) That the Police play another Vegas show so I can see them again
(2) That the Police play a show in the bay area on a day Kaly is free
(3) That Oysterhead make another album and tour in the near future
(4) That on said Oysterhead album, Trey does the vast majority of the vocals
(5) That the Rhymatist comes out on DVD with a commentary by Stewart
(6) That a couple of good soundboard recordings surface for Craig
(7) That Stewart gets around to recording his Regret symphony and dedicates it to Georgy Girl
(8) That at the end of the tour, Stewart does a shout out to Dirty Martini to thank her for the flag as well as all the SCnutters
(9) That Does Everyone Stares Part II is made covering the time period of the breakup/Synch to the end of the tour
(10) That Mike finds his autographed photo of Stewart safely in one of the drawers of his desk
(11) That Stewart responds to one of my posts here
(12) That I get to meet Stewart by chance on a day I have my camera with me so I can get my pic with him
(13) That Gizmo tours and releases a CD and DVD
(14) That the box sets Craig is working on get green lighted by Universal
(15) That the guys change up the set list on the second leg, including songs like Bring On the Night and Darkness
(16) That along with the release of Frejus, the guys release DVDs representing each of their tours
(17) That Andy make another CD with Robert Fripp
Oh yeah, and (18) That I win the lottery so I can noodle on SC.net without any guilt

You've covered just about everything except for:

(20) That the press leave Stewart alone about the Disaster Gig post he made here. It was just for us & not the press anyway. The press seems to not want to leave it alone. (The Washington Post just posted an article that referred to it)
(21) Play another concert in the midwest, preferably Indy

To think that he started coming to Italy a lot just when I moved to the US kills me!

I'd take another concert at Churchill Downs...THAT was a beautiful venue.
22) (or whatever we're up to...) That they play at Churchill Downs again and that a big wad of money falls into my lap so I can get the REALLY good tickets this time! And there'd have to be enough left over to buy my husband a REALLY NICE present to smooth things over!

Weeelll...You know what is an even bigger dream? Seeing Stewart in a small club, kind of the Fillmore or the House of Blues, not in a huge arena or at Bonnaroo (yikes! I cannot take THAT anymore).

That if they cannot play Churchill Downs again, that they visit anyway for the Derby. Agreed, by the way, it was a spectacular venue and great weather and how about that Fiction Plane show after the show? Way cool.

Yeah. Bonnaroo was hot as hell. It was my first Police show, which was great, but honestly? I think it was a better venue for Oysterhead.

Nobody wished for peace, love and understanding?

I wish for that the Police stay together and record another CD!!!!

very nice EQ, except that i have to disagree with #4...

I LOVE LES CLAYPOOL!!!!! vocals, base, songwriting.... all of it!

i have been a les fan from waaaaay back. not that i don't like what trey did, but les is unique. trey's vocals are almost too mellow for me.

just my two cents.
