[b]Publik Musik[/b] is pleased to announce that the 31st of August will see the release of [b]ReINVESTIGATIONS : The Police Derangements by Jo Publik.[/b]

“Ironically, the first time I ever heard The Police was on a bootleg cassette of Outlandos d’Amour that a school mate brought back for me from Saudi Arabia. I just loved the album immediately on first hearing, apart from two tracks that is. A few months later, I was meandering through the local record store in Taunton and came across the official LP. I discovered to my horror that the two tracks I didn’t like weren’t actually The Police, but instead a band of Saudi sound-alikes. I was so furious that I went home and spent the rest of the day taking my Cassette apart, and carefully slicing-off the offending piece of the tape using a razor blade. I suppose that’s where all this started…except now I don’t have to use sticky tape and screwdrivers anymore !”

“[b]ReINVESTIGATIONS[/b] is a collection of re-arranged, lobotomised, remixed and deranged tracks that, like Stewart’s own infamous Derangements, were produced using 99% The Police material…plus a smidgen of other things” Jo.

This 7-song collection includes [b]2 new tracks [/b]that have never been available on Jo Publik’s MySpace before.
