Eyohh,
Forget the frigging snare drum! Where's the signature kit?
If such a product existed, I would almost certainly be compelled to buy it. Cymbals, octabans, the works. A virtual facsimile of Stew's kit that I could alternatively admire and assault. Right in my very own basement. I can see myself assembling and aiming the tasteful, yet very "indie-rock," recessed lighting now.
That way, just in case Stew's ever in the neighborhood someday, and feels like busting some of the baddest live hi-hat tricks since our dear Mr. Roach departed, I'll have the requisite tools handy. Have to warn you though, Stew. My place has a firm bring-your-own-gong policy.
Sorry, I have to draw the line somewhere. I'd get the kit, but I can't afford the percussion rig just now. (Besides, I'm not really sure how I could get the percussion hydraulics set up in my basement. Details, details.) Of course, the longer the Police tour, the slower I will be able to accumulate these toys.... Hmmm... What a dilemma
In truth, It is utterly ridiculous for me to even entertain this.
This is all just a flight of fantasy. I don't in reality have a basement, let alone four walls within which I could drum without having a neighbor alert the authorities.
In the meantime, when's Guitar Center going to start stocking them so I can go in and drool?
Dreaming of this kit is definitely making me think about investing in a real estate. I need somewhere to put the kit!
Maybe if I act fast, I can get one of those "special" mortgages, the terms of which have been quite the talk of the town lately.
$5,000 Cash back at signing? Excellent!
Can we make the closing at 10am?
Guitar Center opens at 11.
That's it.
I've gone totally HOMOwner for Stew.
What a disgrace.
CHA!
