The latest Rolling Stone * I have it in paper version, so no link to post there, sorry, has pictures of Joe and Coco Sumner, both playing guitar and, in Coco's case, with her proud parents. The girl (is it any wonder?) is very beautiful, in a simple, bronzed skin, auburn hair, no makeup type, and holds a 13th century guitar or something (Lute next?).
The Sumner Dynasty continues...Is it possible that Stewart has 7 children and no one is a musician? I know Jordan has inherited his old drumkit, is he a drummer? We need more Copeland spawn!

.....Maybe the Copeland boys (I think the girls are too young) are so incospicuous because they have joined the original family business?

She's had a Myspace up for about a year now, with three or four tracks on it. The songs are down now, though.

I asked Joe back in June when her album would be out...he was very circumspect, saying she is "very ambitious"...
Her songwriting and voice are terrific, IMO.

you would think that it would be pretty damn near impossible to have such parentage and not be a musician!
my father has played guitar all his life and i have lived without him since i was 7, so i didn't have the benefit that my half brothers had and it sort of sucks. i would have learned in a heartbeat. my 19 yr old brother has been winning contests for his guitar playing since he was 13! i have my guitar in my attic and i haven't picked it up because i have no one to teach me.

i'm so proud...
my point is, if i had musical parents, i would be musical. i'm guessing that we haven't heard everything from these children. i'll be watching them!

She is very beautiful! And very ambitious, yes, her daddy's daughter all the way.
Maybe she is classically trained. I checked the MySpace, maybe they want to polish the tracks now that she has made her "debut".
2 over 6 is a good amount. Sting can be proud of his kids.

Babe, Mojo was WAY worse, reviewing a Police anthology and saying that owing to Stew's blog they wouldn't have lasted the entire tour...
