Surprise in the mail...poster

I got a package today...a fairly large black and white poster of the band with their signatures on the border. I have no idea why this came...I didn't order it, and there's no real return address. The only thing I can think of is it's a reward for paying $100 to join the police fan club back when tickets were going on sale. I joined because I wasn't able to get tix with the Best Buy presale, and I saw that there was another presale for fan club members.

Does anybody know anything about this?

Those are the best kinds of surprises! Ten years ago, when Andy released The Last Dance Of Mr X, I recieved and autographed poster in the mail...presumably for buying the CD. I was thrilled, although I already own a personally autographed CD for all of his solo works. Still, that poster has a sacred space on my wall. Just goes to show you, these guys really care about their fans. Stewart and Andy were both so charming at the screening for Everyone Stares, and even Sting was a riot in person when I met him a few years back. True stars!

I never got an autographed poster from Andy for buying Last Dance of Mr. X! Funny, though, I did get him to sign that CD. He seemed a little annoyed when I presented it to him because it was the Peggy's Blue Skylight tour. I told him I had that CD along with all of his other CDs (did not tell him I somehow misplaced XYZ) but I wanted him to sign this one because it was my personal favorite. Then he kind of gave me a "what's wrong with my new albums" look. However, still very pleasant to everyone. He was just generally defensive the whole night, though (played an awesome set but to a mostly empty venue).

On that tangent, I was thinking of trying to get Stewart to sign my Regatta CD when I go to the Guitar Center appearance, as that CD has always had such a special place in my heart. Though for some reason I think I will ask him to sign my KK CD, so I don't just appear to be your typical Police fan.
