THE POLICE SHOULD COME TO MONTANA

before she burns completely away! It's a sight to behold!!!

Do you all think Sting would give some of his Rain Forest money to the Meriwether Fire burning in the Gates of the Mountains Wilderness Area? It's grown to 34,000 acres and is the nation's number one wild fire priority.

It's only 10 mile from my home...

Sorry to hear that. Down here in SoCal, we get more than our share of wildfires as well, as I'm sure you know.

On a side note: do you get ANY major tours in Helena?

Is there a venue that could accommodate the show?

The fires are awful. It is such a beautiful area. There is nothing as beautiful as Montana really, and that area over the Yellowstone river just holds a special place in my heart.

Hope all is well and they get that shit under control soon.

BTW, My husband and I were really considering buying land there. Part of Gary Cooper's old ranch was for sale (may still be) and I sooooo wanted it. Coop. Love him so much.

Major Tours??...I just read in the "Our Time" this morning that George Jones will be here at the Civic Center on August 21....I thought he was dead!!!

As for a venue...the football stadium in Missoula (120 miles away) accomodated Sting in 2005 and The Rolling Stones in 2006...

They could open for George Jones and only the SC.nutters would be invited!!! I'm sure the Civic Center could at least accomodate us!!!

I love Montana. I drove down there from Alberta. I stayed in Missoula two weeks ago. I passed flathead lake - beautiful. I also liked Whitefish and Kalispell.

I adore Montana; I was there all of last week, teaching at a workshop outside of Bozeman. Buying property there has crossed my mind too ...

I'd love to vaca in Montana. One of these years we will. I knew a guy who was doing pretty well on Wall St being a currency trader. He hated his job, his favorite thing was to go out west and ski or fish. so one day he decided he had enough, packed it all up, bought some land in Montana, now he's a ski guide in the winter and a fishing guide in the summer. :D
Thanks Stewart!
