vespapod and I are checking out of our hotel in an hour, so I just wanted to get a jump on things for tonight.
This former im-proper Bostonian (okay, technically Cambrigian) will have the flag in the 3rd row, Sting-side, section A5. I pledge solemnly not to be an asshat with it, nor will vespapod be allowed to be one, either (even if he is an "excitable boy" these days who will now be going to more concerts than *I* am this year!)
In the unfortunate event of rain, the flag will be safely protected from the elements, and a stunt flag flown in its absence.

It's not quite as big as the original, but it's still suitably green and loud.
Knock 'em dead tonight, and blast the dome off MIT while you're at it!

The stunt flag is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!
Will it be travelling with the real flag to other venues? Knowing what the weather has been like here in the UK for the past month, I'm not holding out much hope for two dry nights at Twickers

I'll be glad to pass it along - I made two, actually, since I didn't know how well it'll survive the elements. It's laminated, 11"x14" in size (the biggest Kinkos could do it up for me.)

Holy shit! Am I posting Flag Reports in my sleep now?!?
Thanks for the word, sockii.
We decided to try to get closer for the encore and ended up 20th row dead center. At the end of the show Stewart went looking for the flag at it's original location and I was concerned that he may not spot us.
Thanks for spotting the Flag last night, Stewart, even if Skip made me a liar. (But THANK YOU for trying. And great job, Skip!)
Tonight's spotting will be extremely easy. Promise. (You'll feel the Krypton Force tugging your attention slightly stage-right.)
Have a great show and
BLOW BOSTON TO BITS TONIGHT, STEWART!!!
[sockii, if you'd like to mail the rain sub direct to London (with their tropical sunshine), that sounds like a GREAT idea. But in general folks can make due and make their own subs (just like sockii did) if need be. It would be a logistical nightmare trying to keep it with The Flag as it's being folded into padded envelopes and handed off at concerts and carried in purses over borders, etc. It's hard enough to keep the markers accounted for.]

Thanks, sockii. If anyone will need a rain substitute, it'll be daft and Hannah.

If that were possible, I think I would have known of it by now.
