I don't know if I broke a Copeland flag waving record tonight but Stewart saw it FIVE times and was actually counting each time after he pointed to the flag and I. You guys would be proud of me tonight - I waved it like a motherf*cker from the 15th row. I was very tasteful though and was not as asshat to other fans around me. I ruled the aisle!

Stew saw it right away after Message. That was ONE! Thank you Stewart for making this concert so special for me, my girl, and all my friends who caught you in Toronto over the past two nights.

I've met so many SC.netters over the past few days that the Toronto clan is well represented on the back of the flag. It's almost embarrasing! Alex, BongoBoy, Producerboy, definitely cool to get your signatures on the back. Nancy said it last night but it's worth repeating - SCnetters are the best folks in the world - almost as cool as AUIers!!

I will try to put up some thoughts on the shows later in the week as we're off to Montreal Wednesday. I am utterly speechless tonight. I'm emotionally drained - what fantastic two nights the band has bestowed upon Toronto. They're firing on all pistons at the moment and you can tell they're having a lot of fun doing it.

The flag is still intact - I've protected it well and it's off to Boston. Many thanks Kellie for the opportunity. It was WAY more exciting than I bargained for!!!

I'm so happy for you!!

Glad you weren't an asshat.... but you managed to wave it like a motherf*cker!!! (Hannah will be pleased!!)

Do give us a review when you get the chance and enjoy Montreal!!!

FIVE times..... WOW... Stewarts definately got right into the flag waving thing!!!!! Wonder if he misses it when it's not about?

Kim

I thought you were in the 39th row. Damn it -- so confused. Whatever. Whoo-hoo!

Thanks for the report, Copelandous! Glad you had a great time!

And thank you for sending the Flag Boston-ways. I bow in your general direction. But now you have to tell us about all five points!

Wow. Nice job Copelandous. I can't wait to go to the Atlantic City show to see the boys and of course, the second star on the bill, the flag.

That's awesome CDA. Now I know what Stew was doing when he was pointing at Samburu at Hershey. He must have been counting and is continuing to do so! I have a picture of it and wasn't sure what he was saying when he was doing it, but now it all makes sense. Check it out here: http://pgbella.zenfolio.com/p535691571/?photo=369211024 Not to steal your thunder, though.

Did anyone take pictures of these moments??? That I'd like to see. Pictures of you with the flag? Other members signing the flag??

Can't wait to hear more about your night.

For Sunday @ Fenway, with vespapod and I together I'm hoping we'll be able to photo any points in our direction. Just have to hope my camera behaves!

Yes, Sockii, please make sure to capture those moments. I just realized that most people are so excited about their experiences and are so under the spell that pictures are usually the last thing on their mind, that's why you need a buddy there to remember for you.

Have a great time.

It was great to meet CDA and Alex. The Police is the reason why my friend Brent and I started our own band in the early 80's. He on bass and I on guitar...writing our own Police influenced type music. We had a drummer that was ok....but he ain't no Stewie Copeland! After last night's concert, Brent and I are asking if there is a kick ass drummer out there that would like to jam?

I was very happy to meet the flag.

I met C D'Amour in the lobby and signed that Baby !

Great show...of course!. I had binoculars for the whole show, I watched them close up. Seeing a tiny mistake and then Stewart looks at Andy and nods towards Stingo...HIS mistake this time. I love the looseness, I don't even want to call them mistakes...puny little things. One song ended and Stewart kept going for a second...Yay ! it's not just me that has done that.

Anyway, I wish I had an album of this tour because the songs are in my head...the new way...and I wanna hear them again. Why can't I go see The Police every night like the last two days?

Fiction Plane is really growing on me now. I bought the album and gave it a listen...I hear some melodies I didn't quite get at the show. I met the guys after their set (Thanks C D'Amour!) and got the CD signed. Joe is a really nice guy...we talked about three piece bands and I told him Thanks for keeping three piece bands with a tinge of Reggae alive....but that...it was supposed MY Fucking band!. It was funny though, the guitar player liked my old Police pin...it has ONLY Stew and Andy on stage...he was like Ohhh..just Stew n Andy where ya get that?...I said I dunno but it was 1985 !.

What else...I bought almost every item at the counter...army jacket ,hat, regatta hat, regatta shirt, program, blinky pin, lamanet thingy, green army t-shirt with them on stage...nice.

I saw Stewart get a "nick" on his left forearm ...I guess from the percusssion run-to-the-drums...he kept checkin it. So different to see one concert normaly...and the next close up with Bino's...Great.

Thanks again to everyone...Copelandos D'Amour Cheers Buddy ! I signed the flag...send me that pic if you get the chance ! Cool !.

Well, there ya go for me until November.

My gut tells me...for sure they will be coming around again....I believe it...something more is gonna happen.

EYO EYO YO YO !

THANKS POLICE..I have whiplash from all the flashbacks I had...I am the only grown man who teared up with Message?.....I know I wasn't...whew!

BongoMegaTypo !
