I just stumbled across this video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTTHQgmpQII&NR=1

I love this album, but had never seen the video. I thought it was kind of funny given the recent posts in Stewart's Policeworld thread about The Police never being as conscious of their looks as bands like Duran Duran.

Well, maybe it's just me...but for a minute there...I could swear I was watching "Girls on Film"...with a side order of "Rio"(minus the yacht).

Gotta love Andy's mascara, and that amazing "Blue Steel" glance though!

Thanks, I've never seen this video. Unlikely it made more than a couple appearances on MTV (if ever).

I love that album, well, I have the cassette. I also love their "Bewitched" album, well, cassette. =) I didn't know they had a video either. I bet it's a hoot.

I can't watch youtube at work (the story of my life), so I will have to watch it when I get home.

That's a great album. Check out gems like "China - Yellow Leader" and "Hardy Country". If you like textural, ambient guitar musings from 2 of the best guitar players on the planet....

Wow. Andy in a bowie amount of make-up and a bowtie the size of Cleveland and chicks running back and forth in diapers made of gauze. This has been one of the best days ever.

Here in Denver, KBDI Channel 12 used to have a music video program called 'Teletunes' that was so great! They'd played all kinds of things you'd rarely see on MTV. I do remember seeing this video. I wasn't as appalled then as I am now. At the time, it seemed similar to a lot of the video dreck out there.

Love that song and the album though.
