and was so surprised I almost wrecked my car. (sadly, I have never heard an AL song on the radio - either satellite or "terrestrial"). What a cool way to start an otherwise crappy monday morning. Kudos to WYEP. This tour thing is making everyone dig deep in the archives, apparently.

(ok, ok, I know this is not as fascinating as the great concert reports that are streaming in. But as I too start to fade back into lurker status for the next few months (same reason as Spec A), this is the best I can do. Don't slam me people :P ).

I have never heard Animal Logic on the radio in my life. That must have been a surprise!

As far as I can recall, the only non-Police stuff by Stewart that had significant airplay was "Don't Box Me In". That's it. End of list.

In Chicago in the early 1990s WXRT used to play Animal Logic. I still have a mental association of "Spy in the House of Love" on the radio with some events of the time. I'd bet that they played some Oysterhead 6 years ago too, but I haven't listened to WXRT since I moved back to Chicago in 1997.

I haven't heard Animal Logic anywhere else since, but frankly, I stopped listening to radio years ago, other than WOXY online (www.woxy.com), the old radio station from when I was in college.

There was a cool progressive rock station in Richmond, VA (I think it was called WVGO at 106.5 back then) that played Rose Colored Glasses when it came out in 1991. Of course it no longer exists.

Oh my God ! It's Stewart Copeland's audition video for the Four Tops school of sychnronized background dancing. The Pain.

Wow. That's one helluva jacket. And the dancing...why, almost as good as in the Rhythmatist movie but not quite. (really can't top that action)

Man. That's just not right. But I liked it, in a perverse sort of way.

Yeah, I think you should post this to the POLICEWORLD thread that has devolved even further from people making lewd jokes about banging to people discussing whether or not the Police were/are metrosexuals.
