MIDORI, I need to talk with you about the Flag !

Hi, MIDORI & everyone,
As I wrote in the "Flag-Bearers' thread", I won't be able to have a seat near the stage.
I'm planning to go to the show with two friends, and one of them, she has a problem with her limbs and uses wheelchair.
And I know from what we have experienced at Tokyo Dome Stadium (RHCP concert) that,
no matter where the ticket indicates, she is guided to the "reserved seat" for wheelchairs, which is quite (very) far from the stage.
Of course we (me & the other friend) would like to be with her at the Police concert too.

Surely, I'd like to hold the Flag, but to be with my friend is the priority.
Then, MIDORI would be the Flag bearer I suppose.

However, the situation is a little bit complicated, and need to talk to you MIDORI, in Japanese.!
If you read this thread, please write something here and then I'll put my e-mail address.

Little Bird, you are a sweetheart.

How awful that the handicapped seating is so far away! That's so stupid (and counter-productive)!

But mostly I just wanted to post to say how sweet it is of you to be concerned about Flag Duty before The Police have even scheduled the Tokyo dates.

Thank you, Uccellina. You people are amazing.

Hey, thank you DM !

DM>>>How awful that the handicapped seating is so far away! <<<

Yes, that's another thing I wanted to say!
Because it's safe, near to the shops, near to the toilets, they(the stadium organizer) might say, but they should know how important the MUSIC is,
for those suffering not only from the disease but from the feelings of regret, sorrow, despair etc...MUSIC is HOPE.
I wish they could arrange much better for the handicapped people.
How about the stadium of your country, cities ? I'd like to know >everyone?

DM>>>how sweet it is of you to be concerned about Flag Duty<<<

Because it's too beautiful! (have read so many exciting moments of the FLAG ) :o

I think it's that way probably everywhere, at least here in the U.S. I know that at Dodger Stadium in L.A., the handicapped area was also towards the back, near the mixing board...

I'm still hoping to get to a show in Tokyo on this tour... who knows, maybe I can end up being of help with the Flag...

Yeah, gods forbid people not be close to the damn shops. After all, THAT's why they bought tickets. Grr.

It varies, of course. So far I've only noticed the handicapped sections in the stadiums -- usually a raised platform on the side about halfway back on the floor. Which isn't primo but it's not terrible either -- certainly better than the regular seats at the extreme back/sides of the floor. I honestly don't remember about the arenas though.

I thank you for that, sweetie. It means a lot.

Has your friend ever thought to complain to the Tokyo Dome people? ESPECIALLY if she's paying for a better seat and then being relegated to a worse location! (How do I say "that's bullshit!" in Japanese? ) I know the chances of it changing are slim, but if enough people complain . . . Certainly couldn't hurt.

That will be nice and let's get together then, YOROSHIKU! :)

DM>>>Has your friend ever thought to complain to the Tokyo Dome people? <<<
Eh......she's too busy fighting for everything.....so I WILL do something,
and the nearest word for "bullshit" in Japanese is "Kusot" (stress on "o" & silent "t"),"Kusottaré "(pronounce "e")......
"kusot" is the "sh*t" itself and "taré" means something hanging, dripping, dangling.........cough cough :x
