Lyric question (could not solve it in MANY years)....

OK.

This is about Darkness, so I am sure many youngsters here have a better hearing.

I generally always read that the first two lines are

"I can dream up schemes when I'm sitting in my seat
I don't see any flaws 'til I get to my feet"

and it makes total sense, but I swear I always heard

"I don't see any floors 'til I get to my feet"

which would make sense too, given the interview in which Stew says that the song is about vertigo.

So am I wrong, am I right or it's Gordie's Geordie accent?

I always thought it was floors...

What about In Hole IN My Life...

It must be something in my *socks*???

Is that Stewart's tube socks? Or what???

Do I remember what? Do I remember Hair?

I don't remember the original production of Hair, if that's what you mean. Before my time. But I absolutely remember/know all of the lyrics to Hair.

Yes, that is what I meant. I remember the words to that song because I saw the movie much later, but I know people here who have actually SEEN the original version with the original cast....

Nope, not me. Although I honestly prefer the movie ST to the original cast recording -- the arrangements are much better. But yeah, I've been known to break into spontaneous rounds of "Sodomy."

[I just *had* to throw that one in for phaty's benefit.]

Ya know, I always heard 'floor'-which I kinda' liked-but then saw I was once again singing the wrong lyric at the top of my lungs. To Stewart. At the Churchill Downs show.
Good thing that I didn't have that Flag then.........
