Apologies if this has been covered....but this *may* be new news.
So I'm reading the September '07 issue of Modern Drummer which showed up last night (Ex-Sting session guy Josh Freese on cover) and on pages 74-75 there's a gatefold spread of our esteemed leader behind the Police tour setup announcing:
"The Stewart Copeland Anthology" CD in-stores August 14, 2007 (?!?!)
"From dancing the Ndele Banga with the Samburu of Tanzania, to elbowing royalty on the polo fields of Cirenceester, to sweaty jam session in Havana clip joints and black tie curtain calls at opera premiers, strange things keep on happening to me.
Contained on this album are some of the musical adventures that I've had. Roughly chronological, it starts with the callow charm of Klark Kent, and ends up with some of the slicker things that I have figured out after four decades of obsession with music. - Stewart Copeland"
Only other info I could find is:

Nothing on Amazon, etc....record label is Koch records.
Album cover appears to be the Rhythmatist on the horse riding toward a tornado on a green field. Neat.
Oh yeah-- "For more info visit www.stewartcopeland.net". LOL.
