Police Mar 28, '77 playing Clouds in Venice

I'm guessing most people on here have already seen this, but I hadn't until just now. Gotta love Stew in the almost Village People getup - hehe! This is definitely the punk days, with nary a reggae riff to be heard (thanks to Henry)

Volume is quite low and muddy - turn up your speakers

can somebody tell me how to get this into hyperlink format? I thought that hitting the url key would link the selection ...

I wonder if theres anymore footage from this show? I know that theres better audio for this (not pristine or anything like that), so I'm wondering if anyone has seen other decent footage from this time in '77 ...

Damn, Kalypso! Are guys shaving their armpits now (besides swimmers) ?? I thought I was a halfway metrosexual and I will NEVER do that ... lol

Plus, I don't think the stubbly thing would feel very good during sports - I don't know how you girls put up with doing it all the time, but I like it :)

There is a complete bootleg of the Mont de Marsan festival (August 1977) performance that has been floating around for a long time and includes this song. Also a pre-Andy performance.

I don't know of any recordings of the Palais Des Glaces performance, but I have only started collecting them pretty recently.

edit: The Mont de Marsan recording was distributed on CD under the title "No Title" in 1991 by Archivio.

For hyperlink, I think this works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O98sZgKTe6s

Just drop the URL into the message without any coding or [] elements.

Oh, and a little bit of digging, it turns out this video was from Robert Glassman's documentary, Acceleration Punk.

BongoMen do NOT shave their BongoPits.....I know this is Canada...but ?

Why would a guy do that? I am used to women who don't ...not too many but....y'know repressed Canada.

That's weird.

Was Henri an awesome swimmer?

This place always has a new one.

Trimming good, no need for a shrub the be growing in there. Shaving... a bit creepy. 1" guard on the clippers is perfectly sufficient.

Just a joke about the myth of French women not shaving their armpits. Actually I did a couple of years of body building in my late 20s and you would not believe what men shaved, and baby-oiled....

Even now, I know men who are into waxing, and they're not gay.

I have to admit, I trim the old pit hair. Yeah it's a bit unusual, but on the plus side, it *significantly* reduces my 'odor', and I rarely need to use my Tom's Natural Deodorant (except on meeting days). ;)

Doesn't it come back in a little thicker that way? I never thought about just trimming it ...

Um, don't really have anything to contribute to the pit hair discussion. But I loved that video!

I love that policeman's hat Stewart is wearing. And the shades. 8)
