Rented Rock School last night because Stewart Copeland is on the soundtrack. However, it's not like he did the score. The song on the sound track, Don't Stand So Close, is Copeland playing with one of the students. And I know that Copeland has played lived with that school before. Anywho, COPELAND IS NOT IN THE MOVIE! SUCK!! Not even in the DVD extras. Am I a sucker for thinking Stewart would be in the movie. My wife thinks so, but she thinks that of me in general.

I remember watching Taking Care of Business with James Belushi years ago, and instantly recognized the soundtrack as being by Stewart as there's lots of drumming in the score....lots of drums only stuff in fact. Then I remember reading how he didn't drum for YEARS after the Police broke up, and how he even hired drummers to play on his soundtrack work who could emulate him perfectly. It's left me wondering if he was playing all those cool drum licks, or if it was a hired gun emulating the master.....

Its my understanding that it was a hired gun. Greg Bissonette maybe. Anyone know for sure?
