Gotcha, SJR. I don't know why I thought it was still in print. Maybe I was thinking of iTunes? Dunno.

They did a special edition of the movie on dvd, which even has a short featurette focusing on Stew, but sadly, the album is still OOP.

Yeah I've always wanted to see that - they didn't release it for Region 2 the buggers.

Stoopid question, but what do I click on the page to start the download. There are a lot of buttons but none of them look connected to Rumble Fish.

Look carefully, it's there.

Enter the generated code into the box, click download. It may take you to another page, look for "skip this ad", you should eventually see a timer counting down. Once it's finished, click "download" again, and it should prompt you where you want to save the zip file.

I just did it, so it's still working as of now.

It IS commercially available via Itunes for only $9.99.

So if you're gonna download it, please do so legally.

Yes, please, otherwise I will report you to the Company I work for

Joking...but I do believe our Kinetic Kid needs to be compensated for his work, right? How would you feel if they ripped your work off the net and didn't even pay you?

I'll always have a problem with purchasing mp3s, and DRM-controlled ones at that, so I'll never use iTunes (yes, I know there are options as well). You're really not getting the musical palette as the artist intended, the sound quality is sacrificed for the sake of file size & portability. I'd happily purchase this as a real CD, or as lossless files, if they ever make that an option.

On the plus side, at least there is one way to obtain this out-of-print soundtrack legally through iTunes.

But that's just me, I understand the need for musical artists to get paid. Or rather, the companies that own the rights to the recording getting paid, and then in turn paying the artists a small portion of that.

Hi Kroc,

Believe me, I know. My family would have been rich if my dad had not been ripped off by piracy left and right.
This is why I joined the association for the protection of copyright when I was 17 in my country.
