Waffle

Hi everyone out there. I'm new to this and some of it is messing my head but I suppose i will learn (I think), so I hope some of you could pass on your expertise. I also don't even know what I'm supposed to write so I excuse myself for the waffle. Anyway I just want to say that it is truly awesome that The Police have finally got back together again. I always new it was going to happen, when, i didn't know. I have loved the Police since I was a wee lad & it always made me feel like I was a bit of an outsider because the majority of people I knew always gave me stick for liking them (blah blah blah). I'm going to see them in Birmingham, Stade De France and Cardiff & i cannot wait. Never got to see them when I was wee as my folks never let me-DOH!(thats another story). I think my fav non commercial song is either No Time This Time/Too Much Information or Synchronicity 1 (still undecided) & fav hit is Message...Anyway this is probably boring you all to shreds so I'll stop before I dig this hole even deeper...One last point-Mr Copeland et al, Why no concert in Scotland??????????
cheers from Bonnie Scotland.......

Welcome WW - nice to have you on board. Apologies if it seems like we are talking another language - we do get into VERY silly private jokes and behaviour, but you'll pick it all up soon enough I promise and you'll get to know us all a little too well!

I thought the lack of Scotland gigs was pretty shocking too... and no Newcastle either?!

William...Hey kool post !! See you at Stade de France and Twicks !! And yes, doesn't it feel good to be out of the cupboard, stand up unashamedly and shout, "YES...I AM a fan of The Police " !!!!

Why did your folks stop you from going back in 83 ?

Welcome, WW! You're in good company here!

We're really not all that confusing, Hannah -- here's a primer for the newbies:

Tube socks: always cool
Flag: a loving and zealous gift for Stewart
"Fuck you" : a term of endearment
"Fuck you, weasel": a term of greeting, of parting, of thanks, etc. (like aloha or shalom)

Anything else you just pick up along the way.

Damn. Now I want waffles.

Hi George & Hannaha. My first replies. Way hay. I'm no longer a castaway. Well George I wanted to go to see the Police Synchronicity tour @ the Edinburgh Playhouse (dec 8th & 9th 1983, man these dates are etched in my psyche) & my folks basically said I was to young. What a joke I was 12. Over protective or what. Oh well. But what makes it worse is my sister went to see them @ Ingleston in Edinburgh on Dec 31st 1981 & she never got me a ticket to go with her even though the police were my life. Andy Summers got a birthday cake on stage & i never got a bit :x ). Man I've never forgiven her for that I & have mentioned it to her recently (I'm not bitter, honest  ).
big shouts............

Alright here we go again.

to load pics you need to be on a site like photobucket.

choose a pic from your computer and load, go to URL which is the second one down, copy, go to profile and go to last line and paste

Dm and others can probably explain better, have any problems ask.

Life will be better down under when tickets are on sale to see my band!!

Jan

Hope I help for I only know photobucket

Welcome William Wallace!
So where's Bonnie, Scotland? I have traveled to a few places in Scotland, most notably a small town on the west coast called Croabhaven, very close to Oban. A very beatiful country you live in.
Have a blast at those shows you're going to. I never thought I would see them again either and I ended up going to see them twice in Vancouver. :D
