Wow. Sting's voice is really vastly better nowadays. As the AI folks would say, "pitchy."

This is cool for historical purposes. God I love YouTube. Esepcially now that the soundcard on my PC works!

If you've got a video Ipod, I've got a great program to save youtube videos to your ipod and computer. I've got alot of Police and other bands video clips saved to mine. I'll post the link if anyone is interested.

I am currently using CamStudio, which is 100% free and pretty easy to use. Took a TON of tinkering with it to get nice smooth captures of the LiveEarth stuff but it works pretty well for me. http://www.camstudio.org/ is the link.

I love YouTube too. I sit for hours and scour the Police archives.

This whole show (Rock goes to college) was recently replayed on VH1. Awhile ago, I saw that you could order this from Amazon, but they said the release date was in 2010!

Anyway, I'm not too sure that Sting's voice is vastly better now, but I really really far prefer early Sting to current Sting as a performer in general. Back in the Outlandos/Regatta days, he sang like he really meant it. From the Ghost tour to today, a lot of times he seems really route. If we could match the 1978 Sting with the 2007 Stewart and Andy, I think we would be talking about concerts that would be shredding each city of the tour into tiny, well satisfied bits.
