Stewart's Shirts

Stewart's Shirts

Postby TheEqualizer on 07 Jul 2007 06:23

Anyone know (1) What brand of shirts Stewart is wearing on this tour and (2) where you can get them? I have gone to every major department store and sporting goods store and have searched the websites of most of the major athletic appearal makers with no luck. I think the shirt he wore in Vancouver is by Under Armour, but their website has nothing close. Google has been little help. Some nights he seems like he might be wearing something from Nike. This has become an obsession of mine since seeing the Police in Las Vegas June 15, and my failure to find the shirts have only fueled the obsession.

By the way, how come the Gizmo shirts come in XL but the regular Copeland shirts come in L for the largest?

I would imagine Stewart's shirts are custom made, EQ. Or maybe there's some Rock Star line unavailable to we mere mortals. ;)

I think I have an XL SC.net shirt...?
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

The black and white shirts from the Grammys and the Whisky were definitely Nike - I've seen them in their on-line store.

No help on the others, sorry...

I believe I saw an "Under Armour" logo on his shirt in Vancouver. It's what a lot of pro athletes like hockey players wear under thier gear. Made of moisture wicking/fast drying material. We all know how much he sweats back there!

He's just a stylin' guy (why else would everyone want to wear socks like his ?:) and maybe some are specially made. Some are Under Armour. UA is a customer of ours (they're local). I can ask the sales rep if they created any special orders for him. Perhaps she knows something.

Whatever it is he's wearing, he's looking flash these days.

There's nothing custom about the shirts. They all look like moisture-wicking athletic performance wear as used in biking, tennis, and climbing. Nike and Under Armour are the major brands so yeah: they're just shirts that you can get through pretty much any athletic supplier. Typical price is $35-$45.

Fruit of the loom?
Maybe the same supplier as the golf gloves?

Maybe it's like the days of old and Andy's pink boots.

Stewart just got a long sleeve gortex shirt from Walmart and took it back to his room and put some red spray paint lines on it.

Toodles !

Somebody on velvetrope.com suggested that Stewart's clothes made him look like a member of Alpha Flight. That cracked me up (Alpha Flight was/is a Canadian superhero team, a popular comic book in the 80s). I thought the blue/white shirt and white pants were pretty interesting, myself.

Also Stormtroopers wear it too!

Stewart is secretly a member of the 501st!
