Hog Butcher for the World,
Tool Maker, Stacker of Wheat,
Player with Railroads and the Nation's Freight Handler;
Stormy, husky, brawling,
City of the Big Shoulders. . . .

Oh, sorry -- got Sandburgy there.

Hope you had a restful 4th, Stewart. No flag in Chicago I'm afraid, but from the sound of it, there will be quite a few SC.netters out there screaming just for you.

HAVE A GREAT TIME IN CHICAGO, STEWART!!!

Hmmmm....Fiction Plane is probably playing "Two Sisters" right about now...I have the feeling it's going to be a late night, cause I'm a-gonna stay up waiting for reviews!!

Watching a little White Stripes "Under Blackpool Lights," so I'm not feeling TOO pitiful. Also scored a 16th row center ticket for the Louisville Police show earlier in the afternoon, so the day's been a good one, all told.

Have a blast in Chicago Stewart. You guys are really sounding fierce these days! You guys are tighter than a prairie dog's butt in a dust bowl.

The 1st leg of the North American tour is half over now with two songs dropped and no additions. I'm gonna take a glass half full perspective and pray to the rock gods every night that Bring On The Night and Tea In The Sahara will be wonderful new additions to the set list by the time you fly out to Toronto and Montreal. Yep, I'm one of "those" fans. I'm gonna wave the green Copelandia flag from the floor. I'm wavin it for Ian and Kim too...

Don't Stand is sounding MUCH better by the way. The hard work is paying off. Thanks for improving it for us. Proud to be a fan.

I go to bed last night with "the reflex-fle-fle-fle-flex"; I wake this morning with prairie dog asses. Sandburg would be so proud.

KICK ASS AGAIN TONIGHT IN CHICAGO, STEWART!!!
