St Louis was a blast :)

St. Louis was amazing. I just got back and after a few hours of sleep I'm here at work looking pretty frickin' ugly. We're dead so hopefully I'll go home soon. Duke needs some downtime :)

The show was amazing :) Turned out my seats were alot better than I thought they would be. I was third row on the first tier in the section closest to sting. Great view of the whole band.

I feel like a broken asshole so I'll keep it simple. The band played a solid chunk of music and the whole place was jumping. From top to bottom everyone was bouncing and singing along.

And holy shit were they tight :) Great great show. At one point Andy was doing a solo about 20 feet from me. Still a bit stunned by how good they were. Stewart broke a ton of sticks during the show. He was pumping away like a machine and every so often you'd see a stick go flying past him. After the show, I looked over to my left and there they were leaving the venue. Stu was happy as hell and sort of danced his way out. Could believe I was just 10 feet from him. I screamed at Andy and told him thanks for the show, he looked up at me and held both hands above his head and yelled back. They def. look like they had a great time. :)

Sorry to be so brief but I have no idea what I'm running on at the moment. I'm sore as hell from all the dancing and my voice is shot to hell and back. I'm almost too old for this. Almost :)

Oh, awesome. I'm glad they had a good time at this one, it was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to hear the St. Paul reviews.

Thanks for the 2 cents, hon.

Good to hear you are a-ok, relatively speaking, and that you had a great time Duke! Plus I need to file "I feel like a broken asshole" in my memory banks as I am sure it will turn up a handy expression at some point <grin>

But I had one of the best times of my life, got about 100 bucks worth of Police stuff, and no one lost an eye :)

Glad you had a great time. Stewart seems to break a lot of sticks when he performs. I remember when he broke a drum at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Was a cool moment.
All made up and nowhere to go,

Awwww sends the love on over to Duke! Ya, I feel you after my week long, sleeping on overnight Greyhound buses, one of which caught fire, tour last week <grin> It's amazing what the body supplies on its own...here's hoping that some of the silliness here can at least cheer you up until you are able to go home and crash!

My only complaint is that we didn't stop and get any of Gus's Fried Chicken in Memphis. Gus's fried chicken is the Mona Lisa of the fried chicken world. Well, great, I think I'm actually sweating Fat Tire. This is lovely.....

ha! just got told to go to the house :)

Jump on a plane in September and come to a German gig - if you make it to here the ticket is on me ... :D

Who knew?

take one broken arsehole, one bucket of fried chicken, a couple Police hats n shirts, add one rockin concert...

...equals....nice friendships.

I would have thought drunken brawl or something with the real police.

Take your tylenol Duke !

Cheers.
