That was it. Just before I had cancer surgery in 1984 I saw this very concert on the news and I was devastated. The news announced "Police have announced their farewell to rock concert in Australia." That really brings back memories. I looked up all over my room with Police memorabilia everywhere and thinking that I'll never get to see them in concert. I remember telling my mom what I saw and she had already seen it too and I was actually crying. It was very hard times for me and seeing them live was a way of me holding on as to say. Wow what a flashback.

Oh it brought back great memories. I'm still kicking and on June 10th, 23 years after doctors said I wouldn't live another 2 weeks, I saw the Police live in Denver.
