1 hour THE POLICE TV Show in PERU (Tonight)
Posted: 25 Jun 2007 00:43I just finished watching a 1 hour TV Show dedicated to THE POLICE!
It was broadcasted on Nationa TV - The Name of the programm is "TV ROCK"... and surprisily by me I was mentioned by the host :oops: :)
The host of TV ROCK say about thousand of emails was received to decide producing the programm and that he bets "me" are in the first row for watching it and salute me on air. 8)
It was devided in different sections the clips, comments and some pics of Sting, Summers and Copeland.
In spite of the fact, he used internet (he never make contact with me also by receiving my emails requested about a TV special and my offer of videos and info of the band) he comitted such errors... he was in doubt if Miles Copeland was the manager but finally he mentioned, he assured Sting follow with the same woman as his wife (Trudie Styler), also mentioned Bob Marley melodies were borrowed by POLICE hits, assured the three of POLICE members are not really friends, he confused about Andy Summers and mentioned he was member of the last period of "The Animals" but also of "Curved Air" :? and another "little" errors :lol:
Finally, he mentioned some gossips about THE POLICE concert in Lima and he don't understand why bands like THE POLICE or SODA STEREO (an argentinian band influenced by THE POLICE and leadered by Gustavo Cerati who works with Andy the spanish version of "Bring on the night") are the most "populars" bands in PERU... he promised next programm will be about hard music to balanced the different editions.
For me, I was satisfied to watch THE POLICE on peruvian screen again, No matter what other says 8)
