I will be in section f5. I paid tall scratch for this show. I'm leaving tomorrow from Chicago. I'm really going to see Stewart. I know he won't let me down. I just hope the rest of the band can deliver. I will post my unbias review on monday.

Greco

ps I think I'll be wearing my Jimmy Page t-shirt.

Just got home from LAX! WOW!!!!

What a show!

Don't do as I did in believing the critics.

One of the BEST concerts in my life. I seen over 500 shows. From Steely Dan to Metallica. I, also saw The Police at Comisky Park in 1983.

Stewart just went nuts on the drums.

Sting sounded perfect.

Andy was jamming. He had some minor technical probelems wasn't his fault.

I was a skeptic going in. No more!! The Police sold me!! They're the real deal!!!

Conclusion: Fuk The critics! Also, youtube cannot capture the raw live energy. If you haven't bought tickets go out and buy some! This is special tour. Can't wait for July 5th!

Greco

ps: sorry for the negatively in some of my prior post.

Wow, wow Bob. It's great to hear those positive, good reviews! If you have seen more than 500 shows, I guess you know what you are talking about. You are lucky you get to see the Police again. I wish they add another show for Vancouver. Can't wait to hear your Wrigley's review.

Dazzled, like me.......

Congratulations, Bob Greco. Glad you enjoyed it.

Remember: critics have a job to do, and that's to sell magazines and newspapers, or to get people to visit web sites or watch TV shows. With 55,000 people having a terrific time at Dodger Stadium, I'm really not interested in the opinion of some critic who just doesn't get it.

Yeah, seriously. This is why I never let a critic decide what my tastes and opinions are going to be.

yep pretty spot on Bob....

I put in my 2.5 cents over in the 55K at Dodger thread. Definitely designed to be seen in a stadium. Definitely a spectacle. definitely stewart's show!

I saw Metallica every day for 3 years straight- and I am not even a fan ;)

Bob, do you live in/around Chicago? Where are you sitting? Do you have tix for both shows? I'll be with my wife on the 5th, but I'm going solo on the 6th.

Anyone else going to Wrigley?

I'm solo too on the 6th

I'm in section T

Got a busy few weeks

Steely Dan 6/27 Auditorium

The Fixx July 2nd Naperville Rib Fest

The Police July 6th Wrigley

Had tickets for The Police at Churchill but the wife said no dice so had to dump them on Stub hub.

On the 6th, I'm in Section 11. On the 5th, we're in Section 224. I have no idea where either of those are in relation to the stage.

Wow, the Fixx are at Ribfest? Cool! Totally underrated band. "One Thing Leads" gets played to death, but how many people remember "Secret Separation?" Now that was a good tune!
