Here in Vancouver I've been looking around like crazy but it's not in the stores yet
Can't wait to get a look. Does anyboy know when the magazine hits the shelves in Canada
i don't know when it hits in canada, but i got a copy this week in the US... sorry no one else answered you. it seems like there is a little group here that only talks to each other and unless you joined before a certain time, you are an outsider regardless of how long you've been a fan... good luck!

Jeez, I hope that's not the impression you are getting of most users here. This site has been burned with users on here not portraying who they really claim to be that might lead some users to be hesitant about new members at first. I've been here since the beginning (I think I'm user number 5) and used to go to Gio's old site all the time before that. I know I've stated several times how great it is that all the new users are here because of the tour and whatnot. I'll say it again: Stewart's fans are the coolest people I've ever met.
As for RS, I haven't picked it up yet myself as I've been too busy (and sick this past weekend) to step foot in a bookstore lately. I hope to get it by the end of the week unless I happen to spot it somewhere else like the Grocery store first.
Also, in addition to what I said above, you have to keep in mind there are so many new users here lately that I'm not always able to keep up with who is who and figure everyone's personality traits yet to be able to respond to as many posts as I'd like (or have time for that matter).
I'm sorry if you haven't felt welcomed with open arms policerule - I'm sure it wasn't anyone's intention to be inhospitable towards you. I think sometimes we are a little bit inclined to talk more to the people we 'know' but I'm sure no-one means it as any kind of a snub.
I've actually only been a member on here for about 9 months myself and all these crazy yanks and germans and canadians etc etc etc have been lovely. Just be patient with them - there's a hell of a lot of stuff on the board to wade through these days.
I have a copy of the new RS. Good interview and story but nothing earth shattering. In this newfangled digital age the story is almost old news. All of it takes place before the tour starts so...
That being said it's awesome that my favorite band of all time is on the cover of RS again. In 2007. Can't wait for next Tuesday in Big D.
(Folks should probably bear in mind that for most of last year this site had 500 users, with maybe a few dozen regular posters. Now it has 1500, and it's nearly impossible to keep up with all the new folks, especially when they have similar handles: "policeguy," "policeman," "policefan". No offense intended.)
I haven't seen the new RS either. Time to make a run out to Borders methinks...
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!
Policefan/Policerule -
We're a friendly bunch. Really. I think of them as my Brothers and Sisters in Stewart. I'm sure no slights were intended. It's just that we had alot of time to post before the tour started and now after every show we're kinda waiting for reports, pics, etc. Bonnaroo was a biggie and several of our more, um, verbose, members (no offense ) were there so the board has been sort of slow.
So, welcome to Copelandia! Jump in with both feet. The water's great!!
