How's the diet going? Are you doing any exercising?

I'll be on holidays at the beginning of next month so we'll see how I'll do then.

What part of England are you from?
I was born in Brighton. and moved to Canada when I was 10

Hey English-Lion.... I've had a really bad weekend..... had to work like 16 hour days and the food situation is whatever I can stuff in my mouth....

However I'm pleased to annouse I've lost 3 lbs!!!

God knows how!! We are really really bad at work.... we work 2 early shifts followed by 2 late shifts and it's take away city!!! I, mean while have the resistance of a wet paperbag!! But I'll start again today.......

Brighton eh? If you've never been back since you left I don't think you should..... It's gone like most seaside towns packed in the summer and a bit sad in the winter!!

I'm in Hertfordshire, just north of London!!

Give yourself a little break on holiday.... relax a bit, not too much, watch what you eat but if you fancy something then eat it you're on your hols!!

Where you going anywhere nice?

Where in Canada are you?

Have you updated your thread with your weight? I'll have a look!!

Keep in there!!

Kim

okay girls what this about a diet. I need to lose twenty kilos to fit back in my t-shirts of the Police but my biggest problem is wine, port and bubbly.

I have lost six kilos. My back ground is English my family comes from Robin hood (not literally). Sherwood forest. I have an English and Irish background from both grandparents so does that account? Coming from Australia let me tell you my background was the captain of a ship.

Kim you should be alright coming just back from the middle east since their main diet is rice and herbs not fast food. Actually I can understand from you profession that eating would be a problem, like on the go all the time.

It is so hard to do the right thing all the time. Keep it up girls. My brother lived in Canada for a couple of years New Foundland. Very cold I believe.

Kim and I will keep us all rocking. The way I used to keep my weight off was rocking to music every day to rock. and walk every week my dog but I was told I had RA,afte my feet were killing me and couldn't understand why. I had to give every thing up because of my joints for awhile. I still rock with the Police with a big bouncy ball when I can. Don't feel sorry or this is an excuse, some days I can rock really hard then I can't so I listen to my body everyday.

Every day is a journey and some days we fall off but pick yourself up and keep going. It's not easy. some days you feel like what is the point, like I do. You do what is right and don't lose weight but remember your body stops and starts and don't starve yourself for your body will store fat. Proper meals with vegs and salad help a lot, however I am no expert.

Way to go Kimmy 3lbs :D :D :D I haven't gain and I haven't lost yet. My weigh in is Fridays!
I miss Brighton it's still in my heart.I haven't been back but would love to go. I understand that the piers are gone, or do they have new one?

Visions. wow that's 13lbs :D :D :D

I'm on the other side of the country from Newfoundand I'm in British Columbia (Victoria)

I'm no expert either but here are some helpful points to consider

1 you got to have an eating plan you can stick to
2 realize that you will feel hungry ( but you shouldn't be starving yourself) distraction works like reading this forum
3 have an exercise plan that you can stick to
4 listen to the police
5 have a reward at the end!

Now I know where you are... (just googled it!!!)

Shame that! I'm off to Toronto on 8th Nov for the Police gig... but that's a bit far for you isn't it?!!!

And there is a pier at Brighton, there's a fairground on it It's quite nice actually!

You have to keep feeding you metabolism..... If it slows down then it wont break down the food so quickly.... little and often of good food... not crisps and choclolate, like my preferred option!!

Come on girls........

My goal... not to be a fat blob when I see the guys play in September, October and November!!! :D :D :D
