Ok I seriously gotta stop watching these Youtube vids!! I'll see them on the 29th for the first time ever, but this was the first time I saw/heard Next To You on this tour- I LOVE LOVE LOVE what they've done with the arrangement- It's like a freaking freight train!!! It got me all excited and moving in my seat!!! :D :D

I had to stop watching because I don't want to ruin any more surprises!!

Oh I can't wait can't wait!!!!! :D

That's all. :)

Hey Spec A: This song is one of my personal favourites and when they played it at the FC show (last song) I was totally blown away. As you said, "...it was like a freaking freight train!!!" It sure as hell was with a steam roller attached to the front end! Absolutely love that one.
When your time comes to see the boys you will be amazed beyond belief :D

Hey! I was in Seattle for this one too and yes - it's a winner alright. They really knock 'em dead with this song and the full lighting effects are the best of the entire show. It was my hope that they would start the show with Next To You but it's much better at the end... it leaves you wanting more.... and more....
What you see on YouTube pales in comparison to actually being there, when they're locked in and everything's flowing it is amazing. All three are such amazing instrumentalists - their wealth of experience and inspired vision will knock your socks off.

I have such an awesome video of Next to You from the opening show in Vancouver. I was on the side and can see the whole stage and all the lights. Problem is, and I didn't know it at the time, my fucking camera, lovely as it is, DOESN'T DO AUDIO!!!!!!!!!! I nearly had a heart attack when I found that out. I'm sooooo bummed. You can see them all doing what they do best. Stewart is just blazing away and you can see them all take their bows at the end and the famous group hug. I can't go on. It's too sad. OY!! You do get the sense of excitement in the air, though. I can try to send it to the links if you want to watch and sing along.

You should post it. I'm sure it would be relatively easy to synch up the audio from one of the recording from that night.
