Hows about we make sure that show threads are labelled really obviously - ie like this one - so that actual shows we are looking to chat about can be easily located...? It's a bit hard having navigate to page 14 of a thread called (hypothetically) "the drumming was amazing last night!" to be able to see what people thought of a particular gig....

... and i guess i should add that what i mean is that if you have comments about an amazing performance (sure to be many of them), then how about adding in your thread title a date? Otherwise we get all these threads about bits and stuff in shows but retrospectively won't be able to work out what show was being talked about very easily.

I posted my comments over at thepolice.com but to sum it up in a word...the show (our 4th so far) was FLAWLESS.
Due to what I assume are ongoing problems with Andy's 30th anniversary telecaster he stuck to the Strat tonight and the skipped Murder by Numbers.
considerablyy more jamming during the songs, they're obviously comfortable now and Andy did several scisor kicks and a couple semi launches off the drum riser.
If this is the tour after only 5 performances I can't wait till we see them in Boston in Nov.
Oh, and Sting closed the show by saying "Thank you Seattle! We WILL see you again! Hmmmm

Giovanni: if you are working on the site, can't you get this problem sorted out. The topic list should stay in order of creation. no ? Still not?

umm no, it is in order of last post. which makes more sense. i think - a fresh post will 'bump' the thread to the top. we want the latest posts at the top, don't we....?

Agreed. Because otherwise it's too hard to follow when a thread has been updated (that was always one of the things I found so frustrating about the AUI board...a great conversation could be going on but once it fell off the first page of threads, most people would forget about it.) Besides, I'm fairly sure it's just part of the standard programming of how phpBB works and there's no way that I'm aware of to override that within the program.
(I'd be more curious to know if there's a way to get BBcode functioning properly again on the posts, though it's just a little nitpick... And my login still only works in Safari, not through Firefox, but this isn't the thread for forum bug reporting anyway...)

Yeah, my login here never works on Firefox. Hasn't for months (actually take that partly back - a couple days ago suddenly it started to work, maybe for a day, and then went back to not working at all.) Only reason I keep Safari on my computer actually as it's the only way I can get into this site...

I'm with you guys, Bed's Too Big is one of my favs and after I saw the You Tube clip, I thought it was one of the best sounding songs as compared to other clips. Having said that, I think we here on this forum and other more "fanatical" supporters like Bed's Too Big more than the casual Police fan, which is a shame. Even the recently released 2CD Greatest Hits did not include it!!!!! 2CD's of the best the Police have and no Bed's Too Big?!?!? Somebody's not doing their fuckin' job properly!!!

It's always been my number three fave from Regatta which is saying alot really. Such a great record. Great song, under-rated and people who chat through it are undbelievably lame.
