I know that thanks to Oysterhead (if not for other reasons) there are some other Les Claypool fans around here, so I just wanted to give a major pimp to check out his current tour if you get the chance. I was at the Electric Factory show last night in Philadelphia and it. was. awesome. Les always puts on a great show and last night was no exception.
I didn't think I was going to make it considering I'd been up since 5am and out working an art fair all day, but at the last minute decided there was no way I was going to miss out and I'm so glad I dragged myself (and vespapod) out for it. Gabby La La on sitar is so cool, and his percussion duo of Paulo Baldi and Mike Dillon had me moving and dancing for the whole show (I dare you to be able to stand still when those two + Les are in the groove.)
Anyway here are the dates for the rest of the tour. Hope you can catch 'em somewhere (if you have any cash left after buying all those Police tickets, but it was only $24 here in Philly and well worth it.)
