What are you going to do until your show (FC or other)??

Thank God the FC show is only a few weeks away (Yippeeee)! I'm going to be listening to alot of Police. Then I'm going to give my brain a break and listen to something else for awhile!
I'm going to read Andy's book (just ordered from Amazon) and enter the contest on TPT.com.
Make sure I know all the bells and whistles on my camera so I don't fuck up any pics like I did last fall at another show
Figure out the best way to get my camera into the arena (bra??).

Waiting sucks. But, it'll be worth it :D

STEWART'S THE MAN!!

(Can I get an "Amen"?)

I actually have to get quite a bit of my work done before Vancouver so I will be trying to focus on that primarily...other than that, whacking away at the kit...aerobics classes...and posting like a freakshow while taking frequent breaks checking in here with y'all <grin>

I was thinking of laying off listening to the boys for a while, that way the concert will be extra special.

That's exactly what I've been doing since before the Whisky show.

Going to do a whole heap of work and a whole heap of travel planning. Plus, I've still got 20 bad poems to write. I think I'm going to get Andy's book to read on the plane -- so thanks for the reminder, SS.

Y'know, that's a good idea. I think i'll pull my Police discs, and maybe even the Sting stuff out of rotation. Still leaves plenty of Stew and Bob on the plate!

As for what i'll be doing, i'm on fire creatively at the moment. I used to do a daily comic strip, but now i wanna take it to the next level and produce a daily animated short (via gif) still using word balloons for dialogue. After each episode is done, they can be put together as short movies with music, but i don't plan to record the dialogue, just keep the word balloons instead. They'll be sorta like Tom and Jerry cartoons, with music serving as the sound effects too. So, to that end, i'm also working on new music, and the promotion thereof.

Also busy creating Rhythmatist gifs!

I have an insanely busy month ahead of me, on into June, so I've got a lot to keep me preoccupied from going too stir-crazy before my first show (which is Dallas in late June).

I have one big art/jewelry sales show to prepare for Memorial Day weekend (why I can't be at the FC show, boo hoo), plus two smaller ones and a friend's wedding to prepare for...plus hopefully getting to see my actor friend in New York now that he's on Broadway for the summer (pimp pimp: Go see The Drowsy Chaperone before August! If you have any money left after buying Police tickets at least). Anyway, that means lots of time working on jewelry & finishing some art projects up, plus website updating when I have time...my brain's going all explody just trying to keep up with it all.

I need to make up some mix cds to last me through some long road trips, I'll probably put some live Police on them to get my excitement up but I don't want to OD on the tunes, either...

Hm...Yeah, I think I'll load up on Stewart's solo stuff in the next couple of weeks.

Week after next I'm going on a dive trip, so I've got a ton of stuff to do beforehand, mostly chores. (I had to get some shots this morning for a trip to South America in July, and I have the strangest taste in my mouth...and a slight case of yellow fever, most likely...;)) Our shop does a lot more business in the summer, though, and we've got new ownership, so I imagine I'll be teaching a lot in the next few weeks.

Not even three weeks till the tour starts...and only a month to go till Bonnaroo!! It seems really surreal. I keep catching myself thinking about going to Vancouver, tell you the truth.........

My plans include finding a job that doesn't interfere with my travel plans to see them in St. Louis, researching the possiblities of continuing my education, and to continue pestering those around me with my addiction. I'm happy and I'm sharing. Alot.

I've also seemed to have picked up a research project involving my grandfather being in the circus. It seems that stories of this have been kept quiet, partly to keep from encouraging the younger generations from doing the same thing. This could take me on some unforeseen road trips to visit local libraries around the country, if information can't be found on the net.

Yeah, I've been digging his Spyro stuff lately, especially Spyro 4, although I've only been to find the 6 track promo tracks. Can anyone direct to the entire score of Spyro 4?

You

I will think about you all going to Vancouver....I'm happy for you! I will not be there; I had to make a choice and that made me choose for following more shows in Europe instead of spending a big amount of money for just a few shows in the US.

I'm thinking also about going to some concerts for the coming Summers Festival season; for example on the same day (May 28th) I will see MARILYN MANSON in Milano (great!!!), followed a few days and weeks later by some more shows I will go and see: MOTLEY CRUE (Milan), THE CULT (turin) and AEROSMITH (Venice).

If something will be broadcasted live on internet on the first official concert in Vancouver, I'll have anyway my time to watch it, due to the difference of hours between Canada and Italy! I hope they will broadcast something live on the official website.
And again... I will think about you, 'Beautiful People' going to the show....!

Giovanni

What a great summer you've got planned, Gio. Aerosmith put on a kick-ass show. Steven Tyler is still limber after all these years.

We psychotic Vancouver-headed folks will be thinking of y'all as well!

Plus the Cult? <faints> I used to be so into them, simply crazy for Ian Astbury...<grin>

Everything is a tradeoff and it sounds like you have a rocking summer ahead of you...we will post from Vancouver, surely!

I'm just hoping one of you finds a way to carry a Blackberry into the venue at Vancouver and liveblogs the whole thing. I will need a setlist, chop chop.
