As a male born in 1968 it is physically impossible for me to see or hear any reference to Spinal Tap (along with Caddyshack, Search for the Holy Grail, Fletch, etc.) and not quote the film. So...let's go with:

"I do not, for one, think that the problem was that the band was down. I think that the problem may have been that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf. Okay? That tended to understate the hugeness of the object."

I'm glad Stewart was never asked to drum for Spinal Tap since we all know what happens to Spinal Tap drummers...

Sting is such a Spinal Tap fan (interviews quote him as religiously watching it around the time of Dream of the Blue Turtles) that I could see him wanting them as the opening act.

Then again, maybe not. Just an idea...
