Is anyone going to try and record (audio) of a show?

Would Stewart care?

Even though they search bags (and not very well), I know I could get something in...

I'd like to do, but it's too risky. I don't want to get turned away at the door !

But... the show in Paris will be broadcasted on RTL, a french radio.
Probably some other radios in the world will do the same...

I think I will try, unless Stewart says no. I'd be more than happy to oblige if I get official word from that Policeman.

There was a rumor a while ago that the shows would be recorded and for sale shortly after each performance.

Honestly, I think they'd be stupid not to do that. You know those discs would sell like a house on fire.
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

How can they have time to record and burn each cd?

Mayer's being cool and letting his fans record audio... He knows our low tech recordings won't be sold (mostly), but will be past around to fans. And if later on a live recording came out, no one would be like... "Nah, I already have a recording of that." So it's not like it would lose them any future money.

I doubt it would be that way- most likely something with iTunes, or some other way of downloading. Either that or it's pre order + shipping (which would be a shitty way to do it).

Do houses on fire tend to sell quickly?!?

Mrs. G, I've said it elsewhere, but just be sure to keep a couple of things in mind:

* Don't smuggle in anything that you can't afford to have confiscated.

* Remember that if you end up with a really hard-ass security staff, you may find yourself denied entry. (I've seen it happen. Scope out the lines first, since you can always go back to your car before entering.)

* Don't underestimate what can be hidden inside a bra and inside a tampon box. Just be sure to beeline for a male security guard, preferably one who looks lazy and sheepish.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Tampon boxes are suspicious, how many take the whole box with them?
I was going to stick it in a pad, and put another pad infront of it, and put it in the inside zippy spot on my purse (they never look there).

If I put it in my bra, would they assume the beep was underwire?

It will be very small, it plugs into the bottom of my ipod.

Heh heh. I've done the tampon box thing. Never had a problem. If you really want to go the authentic route, keep it in a drugstore bag with the receipt thrown in. Works even with female guards since everyone has had to make an emergency run for supplies at one time or another. Pads are good, too, of course. Wrapping it up in between is a nice touch!

Bra-wise, if it's small enough (and depending on your shape, of course), you can stick it on the inside just above the underwire or even in the side near your arm. And of course, there's always the between-the-breast section. A bit of surgical tape will keep it in place.

Not that I'm encouraging or endorsing any such behavior, of course. These are purely hypothetical tampons, pads, and bras.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

They do that? Ouch!

Well last few shows I've been to (same venue), I saw 2 guys filming with personal cameras... if they made it in with thoes, I'm sure I could bring a tiny audio recorder.

Yes I think I will try; It will not be the first and it will not be the last.
But I wish to create an LP bootleg. I will keep you informed about....

Okay, you've got a plan, but what about the other half of us?

I can hear the security guard now... "Excuse me, Sir, but why are you carrying a box of tampons? And is that a bra you're wearing?"

Don't be silly, Giovanni, outside food/beverages aren't permitted inside the venue! :) Wouldn't want to break the rules...

I think it's one of the most exciting things for the music lovers and obviously for The Police lovers.
Sometimes for me it's more beautiful to listen to an old cassette with live recordings from Picnic Festival or similar than a new record.
...and what about problems? The staff men, the batteries, the darkness (yeah DARKNESS...please Stewart include it....). But the following night after the concert when you listen YOUR concert. I'm a romantic person!!!
