Since the day I read in a newspaper link...that THE POLICE was received an invitation to perform in Cuba I bet It will be realised... I hope it will be the same in my country...well not free but to be here...Now read this:

THE POLICE TO PLAY IN CUBA

The rumors have turned out to be true - the Police are looking to play a show in Cuba in December. A message from the group said they "initiated discussions of a free concert in Havana as an expression of their gratitude to Cuban fans who have supported the Police throughout the years... It was in this spirit that a Christmas season concert in Havana was conceived. While planning details are currently underway, it is the band's intention to put on a free show in Havana this December." The message also read, "All three band members have a long-standing and genuine interest in Cuban music, having visited and performed with local musicians in the past. Sting, Stewart (Copeland), and Andy (Summers) wish to reciprocate the generous support they have received by doing something special for the Cuban people."

Also some dates in Latin America: Mexico confirmed (when promoter mentioned it at Whiskey a Go Go Press Conference + rehearsals) and two dates of THE POLICE in Buenos Aires - Argentina (Andy mentioned it in a great interview - sorry in spanish)

Uhhhh, el reportaje esta muy bueno, sólo que le han cambiado la edad a Sting, le pusieron la del Copeland y viceversa.

That is why I wrote it in English, just because a secret...

Very interesting and tell me more about Andy Summers as a photo-man.

Wonderful at the end that said that maybe this tour will not be the last one... :wink:

Also Andy comments about THE POLICE past days and nowadays he mentioned the chemestry between them when they plays is like the broke up of the band was yesterday and all turns magic and definetely the years gives them more perfection 8)
