I think a lot of you need to know where I am coming from.
I fell in love with the Police in 1980. I do not know a lot of Stewart's later stuff but love listening to his earlier stuff and later works thanks to the Internet. It always has been Stewart for me.
Before we were married my husband bought a lot of Stings recordings after the break up of the Police, however I do have Stewart's like the Rhythmatist (if that is the right spelling) on record and video and Rumble fish on record, which I brought my self. Like so many others he thought it all about Sting. Not for me.
I can't wait until the new dvd's come out. I have been waiting for ever for The Police around the world, which I have on video, and all the other's I have heard about but don't think came to Australia, like Outlandos to Synchronicity, which I love to have.
This tour is the most important part of my life, even so my whole family is saving and helping me to see them. I don't care about the hype, all I care about is the fact my boys are back and I have a chance to see them which I never did. Of course I have stewart's DVD and love it especially with his and Andy's comments.
Today with my daughter gift voucher from a recorder shop I bought Sting's DVD of Bring on the night and love it. Miles is there and Kim Turner and really enjoyed watching it. I guess what I am saying I love all my boys, however Stewart beats on my heart.
It's great to be able to talk to others who appreciate Stewart and the band without the strange looks. I am 45 years old and still love Stewart for what he has given me and the world. My kids think I am strange but I will never change.
Stewart rocks my world.
