Aw, man -- check out the link that cillae just posted of SC playing at Bonnaroo ("Interesting angle of view").

Such a great moment 2 minutes in where he just beats the crap out of his cymbals. Love it. So cool.

Thanks, Cillae!

It was such an awesome show, I'm telling you.

And I have it to thank for motivating me to come here and hang out with all you fine people. 8)

I REALLY wish I had gotten to see Oysterhead. I had been planning to see them at Irving Plaza back in September '01. Didn't happen -- for obvious reasons. Hopefully they'll jam together again in the future.

And as the video goes, I also love that you can see him working the kick.

I'm still kicking myself over missing the Modern Drummer Festival Fall 2006 w/SC and Gizmo...I was all set to go but my comprehensive exams were moved up a week and so I had to seclude myself from any public appearances that weekend <still sobbing wildly> My only consolation is that they release the festival highlights/performances on dvd...

Did anyone here happen to catch that MD show? I haven't really found too much about it....

Thanks for the awesome link...what a jackpot of a group Oysterhead is, really...I know, duh...but I still can't really get my head round it <eyes glaze over>....

That is a great clip. They played everything fast, just like another trio we all know and love.

Yeah, a couple of us were there...I know there's a thread about it somewhere in the messageboard archives.

I'm seriously looking forward to the DVD!
