The Police are reportedly set to play Croke Park on Saturday October 6.

According to Hot Press, Sting and co will bring their reunion tour to Ireland in the autumn.

The band had been previously mooted to play at Slane Castle in September but this idea was rubbished last week by Slane Castle owner, Lord Henry Mountcharles.

Promoters MCD can hold up to three concerts a year at Croker, and it is highly likely they The Police will play a second date, possibly on Friday October 5.

The late date means that, as in the UK, the promoters are taking a risk with the weather, though this won't put off fans.

If you mean the 'Under A Blood Red Sky' video, that's in Denver, Colorado, USA, at Red Rocks.

Slane Castle is where U2 partially recorded 'The Unforgettable Fire'.

Thanks for these great news! :D
I was at Croke Park in 2005 at U2's Vertigo Tour and love Dublin very much. Maybe I'll have to drag my family over to Ireland once more.
