Truth hit me...

Today, I was driving home from work past Twickenham Stadium as usual when the reality of this year just hit me really REALLY hard. I truly grasped the concept that Stewart, Andy and Sting would be over there IN THAT STADIUM in 5 months time and that I, along with a rabid mass of 80,000 odd fans, would actually see and hear them play all our favourite songs. Or some at any rate. I will actually hear Message In A Bottle and Can't Stand Losing you played LIVE dammit! AND I'll have the knowledge that Stew will be knocking around in my neck of the woods for 2 days in september - can't tell you how strange and cool that feels!
Came home and made a mate of mine an awesome Police/KK/SC mix CD. Made me smile WIDE!

Hi Hannah,
It's so cool isn't it? I occasionally catch a glimpse of Twickers from the top of Richmond Hill when I'm out and about and it now it makes me smile wide too to think about September
Lol, Helen xx

I love those views from Richmond Hill, especially the one from the Park that looks like a postcard - BT Tower, St Pauls, The Gherkin, the London Eye, Battersea Power Station and Canary Wharf all in a row! When I have time on sunny mornings I drive to work that way through the park to look at the view and the deer and think 'I bloody love London'!

Yeah we are really lucky. That view from Richmond Park is incredible. I work on the south bank and I just adore the view from Waterloo Bridge - ahhhhhhhh London is fab

Oh man I haven't been to South Bank in ages. Love it in summer - sitting outside the National Film Theatre watching the skaters and the tourists - a great way to pass a summer evening.

yeah. I keep getting that too - the whole reality of the situation is such a rush. Was driving home from my, er, country estate the other night (my "estate" is a 1000-square foot cabin) and listening to Regatta, and it was just, like..."they're *really* back together, and I have FOUR TICKETS..."
I know I have just done this to death, but really, and from the bottom of my heart....SQUEEEEEEEEEE!
Got it again this afternoon whilst re-watching the Grammy rehearsals...it's just like Christmas. Only much, much better.

Twenty-some years down; only 72 days to go til it all begins again.
Craziness.

Heh. Nah, dafttart -- I personally have, erm, 141 to go.
I meant 72 days til the whole Police SHABANG begins again.

Too bad we couldn't post some photo's.
I'd like to see that darn view too !
Here I am working amoung huge skyscrapers in downtown Toronto, Canada.
...it's nightime now and it just started snowing.
I also have to walk past the Air Canada Centre where the boys will be playing in July...I can hardly believe it. I saw Van Morrison and Bob Dylan there this past year and had no idea how great it was gonna get.
I guess fate wants us to look at these stadiums every workday and "wallow" in anticipation.
...wallow,wallow,wallow.

Hannaha..that is such a great story!! Same thing happens to me every now and then. It does hit you out of nowhere, huh? It's going to be a long 4 months. And as soon as it's over I'm gonna wish it was 4 months ago. You never win!
